Here in Mission: Geography, we cover a wide range of topics. Geography is multifaceted and much more than maps, for it strives to understand people, place, and space - why things are the way they are because of where they are. However, maps are one of the key tools used by geographers, as maps have the ability to show patterns and data across space. This article entitled "40 Maps That Will Help You Understand the World Better" is a great example of why maps are such an important tool and how they can get to the core of an issue in a visual, easy-to-grasp way. How do you use maps in class? Have you found any stand-out maps? Please share!
