Femals couldn't go to school and they sat a sew pretty much the whole time and they couldn't leave the house except from certain events. So life for them was probley bad they probley felt left out and cooped up, like they was stored away or they wasn't important. I would hate being an Athen.
As a female in Athens, us women had it good. We stayed home cooked and cleaned. They're fathers controlled them until marriage. Once they get married their spouse controls them. They learned how to weave, sew, cook, and other household chores. Women often got married in there teens to a man in his 30's. Her father would choose her husband.
Life for Athens if you are a female was very simple. You were to cook, clean, sew, stay at home and do all the lady like things. I guess it would get pretty boring. Taking care of the kids never getting to go out and do anything unless you asked, and the only place you could go was to other womens house and do more sewing.
Males were able to be citizens and, they were more educated than women. Men were able to be trained for sports and war. Females were not allowed to be citizens. They were left at home to do daily chores and they were treated as the weaker link. Women didn't have the opportunities that men had.
Women in Athens were controlled by their father before they were married. They were ruled by their spouse once they were married. They learnt to read in school or home. They learnt household skills such as spinning weaveing cooking. They learnt simple mythology such a religion.
Life for female Athens was hard i think becuase, you can't go to school and get educated . You have to stay home and learn to cook and sew. They were not allowed to leave their homes unless to get food ,to go to a funeral,or to go vist with another female athen. They were not allowed to work like men were. So life was very unfair for female athens.
