I am a teacher (Middle School English and ELL) and would like to create a website for my students. My school does not supply the software. Are there resources available on Thinkfinity or Verizon that will help me create a website? I do not have any experience creating web pages or websites.
Are your students 13 years of age or older? If so, you are welcome to create a group in Thinkfinity where your students may respond to your discussion starters in school or after school hours. More than a web page, you have an interactive site where you may post blogs to push information to your students, start discussions to get them to interact with yourself and each other, and create documents they may view or download.
We have several teachers who have created secret groups so that the general membership can not view the student responses but you and the other students can.
I suggest if you are still looking for a free web page development tool that you join our Online Tools for Educators group where over eight hundred members have joined and follow the group. Post another starter discussion there. They have many good suggestions to meet your needs.
