When I was a first year teacher, it was so hard to create great lesson plans with so little time available. I actually looked forward to the summer so that I could slow down and actually think about the next year and what I wanted to accomplish. I created some of my best lesson plans during the summer, and I felt more relaxed and better prepared as fall came around.
