Did you know there is a Common Core app in iTunes to download for free? It is available for the iPad and iPhone from MasteryConnect, an endorsing partner of the Common Core State Standards initiative. The MasteryConnect website also offers free download information for Androids and Windows (for Windows 8).
As an educator, will you download this app to have easy access to the standards?
Do you think this would be a good suggestion for parents?
I downloaded this app a couple months ago. I love have quick and easy access to the standards on the go. As far as parents go, I think the parent roadmaps would be more useful than the standards app: Parent Roadmaps / Parent Roadmaps
Great suggestion, Melinda. The Parent Roadmaps are available from the Council of the Great City Schools and include information for all grades in English Language Arts and Mathematics. Information is given on the Common Core Standards by grade level and suggestions are provided on ways parents can help their children be successful in school. The pdf format makes them easy for parents to download to their computer for easy reference.
