Today's Lesson in 2nd Grade

I had 2nd graders blog about their favorite snack and where they think their snack would fit within the Food Pyramid in the Kids Health website.  They did a good job, but half of them couldn't log into the district's website.  We worked around it.  The blogs were posted and we will visit the web page later.  Has anyone else done very simple blogs like this?  About how long did it take the students to do the blog?   It took my class (22 students) and I about 35 minutes to do the blog.  (I did blogs last year with 3rd graders and it didn't take this long at all).  Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I'm pleased to read that you are blogging with your students. This is a great example of integrating technology in your classroom. Do you have your students in a lab, all blogging at the same time? Or do you have computers in your room and rotate your students to make their posts?
