NETS-T Aligned for Teachers
(June 2009-2011)

The Verizon Thinkfinity Integration Framework is aligned to ISTE's 2008 Refreshed NETS-T standards. The framework lies at the heart of Thinkfinity professional development and is aimed at helping educators integrate Thinkfinity resources into the curriculum to enhance 21st century teaching and learning.

The International Society for Technology in Education (www.iste.org) completed review of the Integration Framework on June 12, 2009. ISTE determined that the program clearly supports implementation of the 2008 (refreshed) National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers (NETS·T 2008) in a specific, carefully reviewed and documented manner and prepares participants to substantially meet the following standards:

1. Facilitate and Inspire Student Learning and Creativity.
   1. Teachers promote, support, and model creative and innovative thinking and inventiveness.
2. Design and Develop Digital-Age Learning Experiences and Assessments.
   1. Teachers design or adapt relevant learning experiences that incorporate digital tools and resources to promote student learning and creativity.
