Moccasins Are Made for Dancing

ArtsEdge.gif

In this lesson, one of a multi-part unit from ARTSEDGE, students read either of Tomie DePaola's versions of two Native American legends: "The Legend of the Bluebonnet" or "The Legend of the Indian Paintbrush." After learning basic dance movements, they create a dance for the legend they read. They also write about the dance for this legend. Click "Display Full Record" and see the Relation field for a link to the unit overview.
