Writing Myths

ArtsEdge.gif

In this lesson, one of a multi-part unit from ARTSEDGE, students explore the way myths help explain nature and science. Students read a Native American myth entitled "Giants and Mosquitoes" then analyze the myth and relate it to other creation myths and their own experiences. Afterwards, they write their own original myth using the writing process. Click "Display Full Record" and see the Relation field for a link to the unit overview.
